It’s going on at the University Village Street, Seattle location of The Veggie Grill. From 5pm to 9pm if you make a purchase and mention the fundraiser, 50% of the value of your purchase will be donated to Kollaboration Seattle. The restaurant makes delicious food with no meat! Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Kollaboration Seattle:
Kollaboration Seattle is an annual talent competition showcase and movement entirely produced by Asian and Pacific Islander (API) young professionals and students from throughout the Pacific Northwest to promote a strong API presence and support in entertainment and media. We are proud to be part of the larger, nationwide Kollaboration movement which now spans across 14 major cities in North America. Our primary mission and mantra is, “Empowerment through Entertainment”. In addition to encouraging the diverse talents of API youth, Kollaboration seeks to empower: API youth by providing them with a creative outlet and leadership training that serves as an alternative to gang-activity and delinquency for those at-risk. API families by offering a platform for communication that bridges the gap between 1st generation parents and latter generation youth. The API community at large, by raising awareness for other critical community issues and NGOs.
The address for the restaurant is 2681 NE University Village Street, University Village In Seattle, WA. Phone number is 206-523-1961. Not sure about trying out a menu that doesn’t have any animals on it? Check out the reviews on the restaurant’s Yelp page or you can always just order a lemonade. Every little bit counts folks so if you’re in the area please lend your support.
